Over the summer we were checking out local campsites since we just moved into the area. When we got to this place, the hosts followed us around and kept a close eye on us. we were just driving around and looking around with our children, it was very uncomfortable and weird. Never had any hosts do that before. More than likely will not be camping here. it was very nice looking though. shame they have weridos as hosts for this place. would never feel comfortable taking my kids there because of them.
Great camping, nice lake for kayaking and fishing. Great services, electric hook ups and plenty of H20 great dump services.
The park is incredibly clean and well cared for and the park hosts are well prepared to help with any of your needs. The restaurant has a decent full menu and kayak rentals are available at the restaurant.
TENT CAMPERS BEWARE! We stayed only one night due to the omnipresent night trains. Every half an hour there was a loud, rumbling train going by and we could not get any decent sleep. The constant train noises also took away the feeling of relaxing in nature. My partner who is an remarkably sound sleeper also found it impossible to sleep.
I love this place!!! It's super clean and a nice place to camp with the family. All of the facilities are well maintained. Lots of stuff to do for the whole family. I camp here every year with my family and friends. I can't say enough great things about this park.
